| Annual W1AW trip a success! On Wednesday, December 28th the 3 Steves, Andrew, and Eric took their annual trip to ARRL Headquarters in Newington Connecticut to put the club station, W1AW, on the air. In 2011 we acheived 311 contacts (the best in about 6 years) without one of our members attending. We will be issuing 12 certificates this year. (the best in about 9 years) The official Steve's Log Book now currently has just under 3600 contacts.The day was highlighted by lunch at Hooters, and of course, the DXing. (W1AW 2011) |
WK3SS members help out in MS 2010 Bike Tour Club members participated in this year's MS 2010 Bike Tour this past September. From SAG wagons to maning rest stations, the club members helped manage the event that spaned two days and was made up of hundreds of bikers from all over the Northern New Jersey area. |
